Welcome to the Beach Blanket Bloodbath club.
what you see here is an experimental comic jam thrown together by a veriety of different artists.
The characters so far are the products of
The story has been created by a strange group of artists some of whom you can find wandering the webs of Deviant art with no pre-written script and little to no discussion as to where the story was going.
Some of the characters come from my comic "Something A Go Go". The whole thing was done for fun.

DO YOU WANT TO JOIN THE FUN?
Anybody can watch the club but to join you will need to be able to submit at least one page to continue the story.
1) Send Note with the title "JOIN"
2) Add us to your watch list
3) It would be greatly appreciated if you put our icon in your journal
4) You will then receive instructions on when your page will be needed.

EVERYTHING'S GOTTA HAVE RULES:
1) No Furries, inflation, hardcore porn, tentacle sex, stuff like that. (basically wat Devart's charter of what's acceptable)
2) The main characters CANNOT be killed (this would end the story and the point of this thing is for the story to go on until I decide its done)
3) Nudity is fine, as long as it fits into the story in some way (since this comic is set in a b-movie universe gratuitousness is an acceptible reason... just don't over do it. its not that kind of story, just see what's been done before follow that guideline)
4) You will have one week to complete a page if it is your turn. you will be reminded in a note when it is your turn. your week begins when the page before your's is posted. If you don't think you will have the time to produce your page send a note and your position will be shifted to the bottom of the list.
5) see rule one
6) Have fun. all that matters is the story continues. make sure that you leave something that the next person can continue from. DO NOT END THE STORY.
7) If you end the story you lose and everyone will make fun of you.
8) Since it is a story
9) plot twists are fine but try to make the story make sense. since there is an "editor" try not to make him actually have to edit the story. it makes everyone feel bad.
When all is said and done this is my story it will also be posted on my blog so I get final say. but I want this to be fun so lets keep it fun!

WHAT CONSTITUTES A "PAGE"?
A page is either a sequential group of panels that tell the story. if you are not 100% comfortable with full on sequential (comic book panels) type art. A single large panel or splash page that will continue the story is acceptable (ie. page 10 in the gallery). The page should be in an 11' x 17' ratio. it can be vertical or horizontal. horizontal tends to suit computer monitors better. The artwork can be color or black and white. whichever the artist decides.
I DON'T DRAW BUT I STILL WANT IN?
If you are not a drawing type artist you can still participate your comic page can be done in any media except prose, this is meant to be a comic book...
so photography, sculpture, painting are all acceptable. the characters just have to be recognizable from page to page.
MY IDEA WILL TAKE A COUPLE OF PAGES TO DO, DO I STILL ONLY GET A WEEK TO FINISH MY TURN?
No if you want to draw more than one page at a time that's cool. you'll get a week per page. Just let me know before hand.
SO WHY THE HECK WOULD I WANT TO JOIN THIS THING?
What, taking part in a giant rediculous comic jam isn't enough fun for you?
Fine... Once this thing gets rolling there will be contest like elements to it.

Hop into the gallery and start reading this thing from the begining.
that'd be the deviation known as page 1.
